Hi! kirby here!
I’m a New Orleans girl with a lifelong love of coffee, and family that has always believed the best memories are made around something good to eat.
My coffee story started when I was about two years old, when my grandmother—who lived across from the sugarcane fields in Lutcher—gave me coffee with a piece of Bunny Bread to dip in it.
I guess you could say this has been a long time coming…
Years later, my love of coffee, food, and creating became La Vie en Rose, inspired by Louis Armstrong’s rendition of a song I love so much.
You may know us for Rose Cold Brew, Rose Queen Cake, pastries, and our little café, yet there has always been so much more to share.
These days, La Vie en Rose looks a little different—and I kind of love that. You might find my family at a farmers market, feeding a room full of people, popping up somewhere around town, baking something beautiful, or experimenting in the kitchen.
My partner and I are raising our family, making good things, and dreaming about what’s next for this little rose of ours.
